what is therapy?

Therapy offers you space to explore your thoughts and emotions.

Through this process, you can gain a deeper understanding of yourself and find effective ways to tackle the challenges you encounter.

People are drawn to counselling and psychotherapy for various reasons.

Perhaps you are facing difficulties in your relationships or grappling with intense emotions. It could be that you're finding it hard to cope with a recent event in your life, or you're feeling distressed without a clear understanding of why.

Therapy can help you to make sense of these experiences. Working alongside a skilled therapist can support you to find a way forward.

MY APPROACH

Every client is unique, bringing with them a lifetime of experiences, beliefs and behaviours.

Because of this, I take an integrative approach to therapy. This means that I combine different types of therapy according to what each client wants from their sessions.

Person-Centred

You lead the way. We focus on your goals, safely and without judgement.

Psychodynamic

We look gently at your past to see how it shapes your present patterns.

Gestalt

We pay attention to what you are feeling in the room right now.

Relational

We build a safe, meaningful bond together and work from a place of authenticity.
